Bilbao got their season off to a dream start with a 4-1 win away at the Estadio de El Mazo to sweep aside Haro and go joint top of the Segunda Division B Group 2 table on the opening day of the season.
They had to come from behind too, having conceded in only the third minute of their campaign when Ballardo found the net for Haro.
Jon Morcillo equalised in the seventeenth minute and it was deadlocked at the interval but Morcillo struck again early in the second period to give Bilbao a lead that they never relinquished. Andoni Tascón soon added to the advantage and defender Daniel Vivian wrapped things up with the fourth twenty minutes from full time.
